HDR Support:

HDR (High Dynamic Range) significantly enhances the color and brightness range of video signals, delivering more vivid and lifelike visuals. The OG-Hi5-12G and its family of products fully support 4K/UltraHD/HD HDR pipelines, ensuring compatibility with HDMI displays by generating HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b/CTA-861-G. The device also extends support to Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR displays via HDMI.

4K and UltraHD:

4K signals boast a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels, while UltraHD signals measure 3840 x 2160 pixels. The OG-Hi5-12G effortlessly handles the differences in resolution between these formats, enabling the use of UltraHD monitors in 4K production workflows and vice versa. Moreover, it supports High Frame Rate (HFR) inputs, allowing 4K/UltraHD signals at 50 or 60 fps to be converted and output at up to 60p for viewing on HDMI 2.0 compatible displays.

12G-SDI Support:

The 12G-SDI input on the OG-Hi5-12G ensures the preservation of high-quality signal integrity, delivering outstanding image quality to the HDMI output. This feature is especially valuable in workflows where image quality is critical, involving large raster and deep color applications.

Audio Integration:

The OG-Hi5-12G supports up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on input, which can be seamlessly passed through to 8 channels of embedded HDMI audio on the output. The device also offers audio delay adjustment from 0 to 7 frames, ensuring precise synchronization with the output video stream.
